In June 2015, Louise Umeki came across a very long Facebook post of planners saying how fun it would be to have a national conference where planners came from all over to learn, share, play & plan together. Being a woman of action, she asked if anyone would like to join her on a call the next day and the journey to PlannerCon began!
3 years later, PlannerCon has held 3 very successful International Conferences in the San Francisco Bay Area with over 1000 planners, speakers, workshop leaders and vendors coming from around the world. Last year we held our PlannerCon parties in Salt Lake City, Cleveland, Charlotte, San Diego, and Honolulu. For 2019 we will be hosting our Planner Con Parties in New Jersey, Atlanta, Houston, Irvine, and back to Honolulu!
PlannerCon believes in the power of bringing and connecting people in the planner community together, inspiring and encouraging each of us to be just who we are. There is no right or wrong and each planner style is different and unique. We also believe in giving back to our local communities. At each event, we will donate to & support a small local non-profit in that community. We are joining with the Evolve You Foundation which works with foster and at-risk youth specifically those transitioning out of the system to help educate and work with local foster youth and agencies as we travel across the nation.
PlannerCon and PlannerCon Parties welcome everyone – new planners, experienced planners and young planners to join us at our events. We have only just begun…anything and everything is possible! We hope you will join us to discover and experience the magic of PlannerCon.
