The Westin San Diego is in the Gaslamp Quarter in the San Diego downtown core. The hotel’s rooms offer panoramic views of the San Diego Bay, Coronado Island and the downtown cityscape. PlannerCon attendees will receive a complimentary upgrade to Deluxe Bayview rooms! The hotel features the WestinWORKOUT fitness studio with 24-hour access to state-of-the-art equipment and a rooftop pool with poolside service. In-room amenities include 50” flat screen televisions, the Westin’s Heavenly Bed and Westin Heavenly Bath experience with White Tea Aloe bath amenities and revitalizing rain shower. PlannerCon attendees will receive discounted parking of $12 per day per vehicle (weeknights after 4:45 pm and all-day Saturday).

The PlannerCon room rate is $199 per night plus $25 in taxes and fees for a total of $224 for single or double occupancy. The hotel rate is subject to a mandatory Hotel Facility Fee of $25.00 per night plus tax which includes:

  • Premium High-Speed Internet Access
  • Local and long-distance phone calls
  • Airport shuttle service (airport is 2 miles from the hotel)
  • Two-in-room bottled waters
  • Snack hour 5pm-6pm daily
  • Bike rental
  • Whistle instant messaging service

The room block is for the nights of October 12 through October 13, 2018. If you need additional nights, please check with the hotel as they are subject to availability at the PlannerCon rate.

Food information:

● Included in your VIP ticket is the luncheon for VIPs on Friday afternoon at 1:00
● Snacks for Friday night fun food is all included
● Continental breakfast is included for everyone – water will be provided all day.
● Snacks at both snack breaks are included for everyone.
● Lunch is on your own and not included with your registration.

Fun Activities (all by choice – not required)

Gift Exchange:
● Bring a gift bag with fun planner goodies to gift someone if you would like to participate
● The value of the gift bag should be approx $25.00
● We ask that all items are new & unused and if items are dated, please be current
● You will turn in your gift at check-in and be given ticket, which you will then hand back in at the registration table to pick a gift when you leave for lunch

Destash Table:
● Bring any planner or craft items you no longer need and leave them on the table for someone else to enjoy

Swaps:
● Swapping is a great creative outlet and a great way to meet and make new planner friends!
● Swaps can be anything you want from washi samples to dashboards. Make as many as you want/can, most people still hand out their swaps even if you have nothing to give in exchange!
● This is not a mandatory event
● There is no specific time swapping occurs, most people like to swap during the breaks in between shopping

Table Gifts:
● Bring a gift bag or gift for your 7 tablemates
● New items only – can be anything including some candy for your table or use your imagination! Value of the table gift bags/gifts approximately $5
● To be given out on Saturday
● This is also extra – not mandatory, just fun!

What To Bring:
● Your planner and items to decorate your planner (washi, stickers, die-cuts, glue, scissors, etc.)
● Have a planner or crafty project you are working on? Feel free to bring it to work on.

What to Wear: Come dressed comfy to have fun! It’s a party!
